Couples: 50 min ($150)
Couples Initial Evaluation includes three 90-minute sessions and online questionnaire: $800-10%=$720, if paid at first session.

Do you take insurance? Why not?

No. In choosing to have a cash (non-insurance) practice, I am able to provide a guaranteed confidential experience.

When taking insurance, I am required to give you a diagnosis, find what the insurance company deems is appropriate treatment for the amount of time they require, and then report it all to them.

I prefer that therapy be TRULY confidential and not report or provide a “prescription” when it may not be necessary for you. This way, we protect your vulnerability, and any diagnoses or prescriptions we deem necessary will not create problems for you in getting insurance in the future.

However, if you like, I WILL create a superbill for you. You may then, if you desire, submit it to receive credit toward your deductible.

Is your first session free?

I offer a FREE 20-minute phone consultation during which we will go through a series of questions to uncover what is bringing you into therapy and make sure I am the best fit for your needs.

What else does a client need to know to make the most out of working with you?
My clients are eager to grow, own their behavior, willing to connect with their emotions, open to feedback, show up for their appointments with a desire to go deep, grow, communicate.
Do couples ever storm out during a session?
Sometimes; couples work can be intense, and emotions can become escalated. There have been situations where one party leaves the session. We work to avoid this by learning to self-soothe and slow your heart rate down.
Will you use the Bible against me during session?
I am interested to know what your views of the Bible are and whether you are using it against yourself. My office is safe AND non-judgmental; unfortunately, that’s not always the experience with some Christian organizations.
How does Spirituality work into session?
Spirituality can be central to your work, or it can be in the background. We will talk this through.
Do you pray in session?
As I work with clients and they disclose their faith, we will discuss prayer as a part of the session. Many clients ask me to pray for them, and others do not want prayer to be a part of their therapy work. You get to decide what that looks like.
Does your office close for bad weather?
Very rarely. Most of the time we stay open; however, if we close, I will contact you directly.
What is your favorite color?
My favorite color is pink.
What is your favorite hot drink?
